Just over a month ago I received the Eberlestock Skycrane II J79 backpack and all I can say is WOW !! The Skycrane II is truly a masterpiece of pack design and it will take me months to completely figure out how to best use all its innovative and unique features.
The Eberlestock™ J79 Skycrane II Pack is a modular load bearing system consisting of three primary bags: the basic J79 pack, the pull-out G1 “Little Brother” pack and a removable fanny/courier pack. These components comprise the basic system, with a volume of 4,475 cubic inches.
I will be posting a full review including all the specs on this pack after I have had some time to put this guy through a workout.
If you’re looking to get one of these bad boys or any Eberlestock item, look no further than to the great folks at Linton Outdoors. Linton Outdoors is a full line Eberlestock dealer and they will take care of you like no one else can.
I’ve had the opportunity to meet Chad Linton personally and you won’t find a better guy to deal with. Chad is an avid hunter / outdoorsman and he knows his stuff when it comes to gear.
Being in Meridian Idaho, the folks at Linton Outdoors have the unique opportunity to work with Glen Eberle, founder of Eberlestock.
